The incoming physician joins an established Child Neurology team at Ochsner Health, based primarily at the Michael R. Boh Center for Child Development at 1319 Jefferson Hwy in New Orleans. The team covers the full spectrum of pediatric neurology, with epilepsy subspecialty coverage already in place. APPs carry independent patient panels and take call, giving physicians meaningful workload support in both clinic and the hospital.

The program operates with a collaborative, consultative model. Hospitalists manage admissions and serve as the primary inpatient team, calling on epileptologists for consults. This structure keeps physician focus on complex neurology cases rather than general admitting responsibilities. The team is actively growing, with plans to add at least four Child Neurologists ahead of the 2027 Children's Hospital opening.
