Physician Recruitment Process and Compensation Overview

Ochsner Health offers a structured compensation model with income stability built into the first two years of employment. The model combines a guaranteed base salary with an annual RVU true-up, giving physicians a floor of income security while preserving productivity upside as the practice grows. Ochsner withholds 5% throughout the year and pays out 98 to 99% annually, keeping compensation closely tied to actual production.
